Forming our thoughts and moreover spreading our thoughts is one of the most trending issues online. In the past people wrote their experiences in a personal diary, a diary secured by a lock. The equipment was just a ballpoint, nowadays you can form your diary on Twitter with a keyboard, music, video and photos.
The impact and influence of computer diaries on our society can be described on the hand of several examples and definitions but I would like to explain the difference on the hand of a thesis of Daphne, student on the Design Academy of Eindhoven and owner of the website http://postparels.blogspot.com. With her thesis Daphne tries to examine and point out the importance of the storage of personal (digital) messages. According to her research people do not collect and store personal digital messages.

Ironically, social media messages can not completely disappear, because companies are as we speak recording and storing our data. In contrary with old-fashioned paper diaries, which people can loose or burn in highly emotional status these diaries are forever. So in case people are interested in their digital diaries, they can purchase their paper-diaries including a lock within a few years. Consequently they will pay money for their own data.
